Power Flushing
Does my central heating system need a Power Flush?
Do you have cold spots when your radiators are on?
Are you having to bleed your radiators a lot?
Is there poor performance from the radiators?
Is your boiler breaking down frequently?
Over a period of time your central heating system can develop a build up of sludge and other contaminants which can build up and cause damage to not only your boiler but to the central heating components such as pipework, radiators and premature boiler failure.A power flush is the most effective method to remove all of this sludge giving your system a new lease of life!
What is a Power Flush and how does it work?
Power Flushing is a popular method of cleaning and maintaining a central heating system. A power flushing unit sends formulated water at high velocity through the system to dislodge and remove debris and sludge that has built up over time. The formulated water will help to break down the unwanted sludge in the system,we also use a radiator agitator on each individual radiator to remove any stubborn sludge that may not have shifted. This ensures that your heating system stays healthy and reduces the risk of breakdowns and severe blockages. When we have removed all of the sludge from your central heating system it is then filled up with clean water and inhibitor protection, which will keep your boiler and radiators happily heating the home.
Benefits of a Power Flush
Improved energy efficiency
Hotter radiators
A more reliable system
Reduced chance of boiler breakdown
Increases the lifespan of the system
Lower fuel bills
Improve Performance
Magna Clean filter
We fit a Magna Clean filter to your boiler as standard with every power flush and with every boiler replacement. A Magna Clean filter is a component that is fitted to the boilers pipework to collect any rust, sludge or debris from the circulating water before it has a chance to build up and reduce the efficiency of the heating system.
The Magna Clean filter can be checked during your annual boiler service to ensure there is no sludge or debris build up.
